The building has a rich history dating back to 1871. Dr. Reza Rahmani acquired the property in 2014 and invested significantly in updating the building. In 2015, Detroit’s renowned Shinola watch and bike company opened its doors here, marking a fitting tribute to this historic building as it approached its 150th anniversary.
