Meet Sam Kafaei, Founder and President of KBG
KBG was founded by Sam Kafaei, a seasoned professional with degrees in Civil Engineering and Construction Management. Sam brings decades of experience to the table, specializing in concrete work, carpentry, and 3D modeling. Before founding KBG, Sam served as a concrete project manager on some of Ann Arbor’s most iconic construction projects, including the development of the Ross School of Business, renovations at the University of Michigan’s Law Quad,  foundation work for the Big House luxury boxes, and the Mott Children's Hospital. His resume also includes managing the construction of the Toyota Technical Center. Sam’s deep connection to Ann Arbor’s historic projects inspired him to start KBG, with a vision to preserve the city’s legacy while building its future.
